Double-Click Test
Click once, normally, in the box below - the way you always click. A healthy mouse logs exactly one click. A worn-out switch can "chatter" and register two clicks from a single press, which is the most common mouse hardware failure.
Button Test
Click each button to confirm it registers. Right-click won't open a menu inside the boxes below.
No button pressed yet.
Scroll Wheel Test
Scroll up or down (and left/right, if your mouse or trackpad supports it) inside the box below.
Everything here runs locally in your browser via standard click, mousedown, and wheel events - nothing is recorded, saved, or sent anywhere. The "fast repeats" flag is a heuristic (clicks under 30ms apart are far faster than an intentional double-click, and under 100ms is worth a second look) - it's a diagnostic aid, not a certified hardware test.
